Maree Norden is an experienced equity, diversity and inclusion practitioner with an extensive background in human resources in the healthcare, higher education, government and not-for-profit sectors in Australia and the United Kingdom.
Maree’s breast cancer treatment at Peter Mac inspired a passion for equity in healthcare and the belief that the input of patients is essential to improving the patient experience and should be central in the delivery of cancer services.
Having grown up in regional Victoria, Maree is an advocate of accessible healthcare for rural and remote communities. Maree joined the Peter Mac Community Advisory Committee in June 2019 to utilise her professional skills and lived experience of cancer treatment to help improve patient services.
