Patients and carers at the Melbourne campus can use the PEER process for assistance.
If you are concerned about a change in your condition or that of someone else, please alert someone and ask for help using the following escalation steps:
- Speak to your nurse or doctor and tell them about your concerns
- If you are not happy with the first response, or you are still worried, ask to speak to the nurse in charge
- if you are still worried, ring the 24/7 PEER helpline on 8559 8209 (or dial 98209 from your bedside phone).
