Digital health and learning systems

Step into the future of Health Services Research with Digital Health at PMCC

Central to our vision is the commitment to a Learning Health System (LHS), a model where health care is continually optimised through insights from every patient experience.

We are dedicated to maximising the potential of digital health systems, ensuring clinical practices remain data-driven, innovative, and at the vanguard of health research. With tools like Epic, our Electronic Medical Record system, we excel in transforming raw data into actionable, evidence-based conclusions.

Our expertise with OMOP (Observational Medical Outcomes Partnership) further strengthens our data standardisation and analytic capabilities that integrates with the Implementation Science expertise in the Department of Health Services Research at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre.

We strongly collaborate with external partners, including BioGrid Australia and the Victorian Cancer Registry to facilitate cancer registry development, including our pioneering efforts in building a National Cohort research platform with AOCS, Lifepool, VIP study, KConFab and Melanoma Research Victoria, that will set a standard in collaborative, large-scale health research.
