The dedicated translational research centre team delivers projects for academic and industry partners, with access to the resources and expertise of the Peter Mac Cancer Research Division. Our Pre-Clinical Imaging facility is proudly supported by the ACRF Radiation Immuno-Oncology and Tumour Heterogeneity Programs. The facility is equipped with:
- small-animal PET/CT imaging;
- CT-guided radiotherapy;
- bioluminescence imaging;
- digital micro-autoradiography; and,
- ultrasound.
A dedicated radionuclide therapy lab enables theranostic research with combined imaging, dosimetry and efficacy studies.
Our specialist technician team has experience across a wide range of genetically engineered, cancer xenograft and syngeneic models, including patient-derived xenografts established at the Peter Mac. We have the capability to acquire and develop new models, and work to tailor research projects to your needs.
We can deliver translational research leveraging the facilities, expertise and experience of the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre. Work can be performed on a commercial-in-confidence basis, as fee-for-service or as part of a research collaboration. Confidentiality, Intellectual Property and Publication Rights are agreed as part of each research service agreement.
