The Peter MacCallum Year 10 Work Experience program offers a unique opportunity for students interested in exploring the cancer research environment. Over the five-day program, students will engage in various activities, designed to provide them with insight into real-world research processes and cutting-edge technologies used to investigate fundamental cancer biology and therapeutics.
30 students will be selected to participate in the program, with six students/week attending.

Applications for 2025 Peter MacCallum Research Work Experience program opens on 1 March 2025 and closes on 10 March 2025.
Program intake weeks:
- 16 June - 20 June 2025
- 30 June - 4 July 2025
- 7 July - 11 July 2025
- 15 September – 19 September 2025
- 22 September - 25 September 2025

Eligibility
Students must be at least 15+ years of age at the time of undertaking the program.
Must be available to attend the entire program week, approximately 9am – 4pm daily.
All students will need to arrange their own transport to Parkville each day, as well as any necessary accommodation.
