The Victorian Cancer Survivorship Community of Practice forum brings together health professionals with an interest in cancer survivorship and the implementation of new models of care and provides an opportunity to discuss key aspects of cancer survivorship.

This free forum is open to those working with cancer survivors from all sectors including hospital, community or non-government organisations, researchers and policymakers.

The forum will include:

  • Department of Health update
  • Consumer Advocate story
  • Presentations from the Victorian Statewide Collaboration to Improve Cancer Survivorship Care project and facilitated discussion – exploring efforts to improve survivorship care practices across the state
  • Facilitated discussion – survivorship care for people with treatable but not curable cancers, exploring challenges and supportive resources
  • Facilitated discussion – professional development opportunities for health professionals, planning for the next iteration of the Clinical Placement Program in Cancer Survivorship

This is a joint initiative between the Department of Health and the Australian Cancer Survivorship Centre.
