The Peter Mac Foundation Postgraduate Award aims to promote excellence in cancer research by supporting outstanding PhD students who demonstrate academic excellence and leadership qualities throughout their candidature at Peter Mac.

“This is a highlight of the calendar year for academic infectious diseases, to learn and share new knowledge, meet clinicians and researchers from all over the world and discover new places.
“I am grateful for the opportunity to attend and thankful for the support from this award.”
These awards are named in honour and recognition of the tireless work supporting the Peter Mac Foundation’s fundraising activities by long-term supporters including Rosie Lew, Robert Kirby, Lester Peters and Stewart Baron.
This scholarship provides award of $45,000 per year up to a maximum 3.5 years.
