Our team at Box Hill consists of skilled radiation oncologists, radiation therapists, medical physicists, doctors, nurses, allied health, and administrative staff. They work together to provide personalized patient-centered cancer care, delivering the highest standard of care for everyone.
Each of our attending radiation oncologists specializes in a specific tumor type and is a member of the specialist multidisciplinary unit.

Our Box Hill campus staff also take part in education and research, including clinical trials, to improve cancer care and treatment outcomes for our patients. As a public health service provider, we offer radiation therapy services free of charge for Medicare-eligible patients.
Getting to Peter Mac Box Hill campus
Radiation Therapy is located on Level B1 (basement) of the Epworth Eastern Medical Centre. It is opposite Box Hill Hospital.
Access is via Epworth Eastern Hospital's main entrance. The outpatients’ clinic is on Level 2. The centre is straight opposite Box Hill Gardens.
If you are coming to the centre by car there is easy access from the Eastern Freeway and Whitehorse Road.

Box Hill campus parking
An underground car park is available at Epworth Eastern. As a patient, you can access the car park at a capped rate. Speak to reception staff on your first visit for rates and how to access these.
There are a limited number of metered street parking spots around the site. Availability will depend on the time of day.
Public transport
Metropolitan and regional trains, trams, buses, and coaches are available. Call Public Transport Victoria on 1800 800 007 (6 am to midnight daily) or visit Public Transport Victoria to plan your journey.
Train
Box Hill Train Station is on the Lilydale and Belgrave lines. It is about a 10-minute walk from Box Hill campus.
Trams
Tram 109 runs along Whitehorse Road and stops at Nelson Road.
Buses
Buses stop outside the building. If you are coming to Box Hill campus from Melbourne via East Kew, use bus number 207. If travelling from Box Hill Train Station, use number 302.
Ambulance transport
For eligible patients, we can arrange alternative forms of transport when other transport is not practical. Please discuss this with your radiation oncologist.
