Dr Cardin has extensive experience in all aspects of cancer imaging, ranging from diagnostic radiology and nuclear medicine/PET imaging to therapeutic/theranostic nuclear medicine. He is one of only a handful of dual qualified radiologists across the country who are actively involved in direct patient care and treatment with peptide receptor radionuclide therapy (PRRT), particularly treatments for neuroendocrine tumours and prostate cancer. His research interests focus of PET imaging and theranostics. In addition, Dr Cardin in actively involved in professional bodies, volunteering on numerous committees and has a keen interest in strong clinical leadership and governance in healthcare institutions/settings.
