Deputy Director, Partnerships and Engagement

Biography

Ashlea is a Deputy Director, Partnerships and Engagement within the Partnerships and Enterprise Team at Peter Mac.

She provides strategic advice to senior leaders across the organisation, and supports the development of major projects and partnership initiatives that deliver impact, growth and outcomes in cancer care, research and education. In particular, Ashlea has a key role in driving forward Peter Mac's Global Partnership Program, which is a catalyst for identifying new collaboration opportunities with key international partners.

Prior to joining Peter Mac, Ashlea advised a number of Australia’s leading medical research and life-science organisations, and led advocacy campaigns for multi-million business cases and investment proposals. Ashlea has also previously worked in government, focusing on initiatives related to biotechnology, life-science investment and trade.

Ashlea is a graduate of the University of Melbourne and a Board Director of a not-for-profit organisation that is dedicated to improving health outcomes for Victorian women.
