Biography

Dr David Chang is a Radiation Oncologist at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre specialising in Gynae-oncology and Genitourinary Oncology. His interests include gynae/prostate brachytherapy and stereotactic ablative body radiotherapy (SABR).

David completed his medical degree at the University of Western Australia and postgraduate training in Radiation Oncology at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in Melbourne. Subsequently, he was awarded a PhD in Nanomedicine under Professor Maria Kavallaris at CCIA UNSW whilst a fellow at the Prince of Wales Hospital, Sydney. After his employment at the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Wellness and Research centre, he joined the Gynae-oncology and Genitourinary Oncology Services at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in 2020. He is a member of ANZGOG (ASM Steering Committe/Ovarian Tumour Working Group Member), ABG (Executive Committee Member), ANZUP and TROG.

Awards: UWA Graduates Association Prize in Medicine, CE Eddy Prize, Withers and Peters Prize, Genitourinary Fellowship Award, FRO Bourne and Langlands Prize and David Wigg Prize.
