Dr Megan Crane
Biography
With 20 years of experience in infectious diseases and immunology, Dr Megan Crane brings a wealth of expertise to her role in overseeing critical functions integral to the success of the Infectious Diseases Unit at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre.
The unit specialises in providing clinical consulting services on infections in immunocompromised patients, particularly those with cancer, and leads a national health services research program (the National Centre for Infections in Cancer; NCIC) focused on infection surveillance, clinical trials, and the implementation of patient care plans.
As General Manager, Infectious Diseases, Megan is responsible for resource management, strategic direction and policy formulation for the NCIC, Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre.
