Dr Georgie Ryland is a Senior Scientist and Team Leader of Laboratory Operations in Molecular Pathology at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre. She has extensive experience in diagnostic assay development and associated analyses, including somatic and germline variant interpretation. She holds honorary appointments in the Sir Peter MacCallum Department of Oncology and Department of Clinical Pathology, Centre for Cancer Research at the University of Melbourne (UMCCR). Georgie’s research interests include the use of novel molecular techniques to improve the diagnosis of malignancies and exploring how genomic information can be integrated in the clinical setting to inform prognosis and therapeutic decisions.
