Dr Hossein Tabatabaeian

Biography

Hossein is a Cancer Biologist who is focused on the translational benefits of research, technology, and innovation for improving healthcare systems. His research interests include the molecular and cellular biology of cancer, development and validation of diagnostic assays, clinical applications of transcriptomics technologies, and the diagnostic, prognostic, and therapeutic applications of single nucleotide polymorphisms and genome editing. He has extensive experience in studying various malignancies such as breast, colorectal, lung, and head and neck cancers. Hossein's academic credentials include a PhD degree from the National University of Singapore, and he has conducted further research at the Cancer Science Institute of Singapore. He has authored numerous publications in high-impact prestigious journals. Currently, Hossein is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Head and Neck Cancer Signalling lab at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, where he is pursuing his academic goals.
