Professor Mei Krishnasamy PhD, FAAN, is Professor of Cancer Nursing in the Department of Health Services Research at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and honorary Professor of Nursing at the University of Melbourne. She is Deputy Chair of the Clinical Research Advisory Committee and Research and Education Lead for Nursing at the VCCC Alliance.

Her research focuses on cancer supportive care, health equity and experiences of care for people with poor prognosis cancers, and the contribution of nurses to patient and system level outcomes.

She has considerable teaching and post-graduate supervision experience and holds national leadership positions on nursing and multi-disciplinary professional and policy Committees.
