Biography

Dr Ming-Yin Lin is a Gynaecological Radiation Oncologist at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre since 2015, where she is currently also the Director of Radiation Oncology Training.

Ming-Yin graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2006 and completed specialist training at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre where she subsequently undertook a clinical and research fellowship in Gynae-Oncology and Image Guided Brachytherapy. She is actively involved in clinical research in gynaecological cancers and is an investigator in several national and international clinical trials with a specific interest in image guided radiation treatment in the treatment of cervix, endometrial and vulvo-vaginal cancers. She presents regularly at local and international conferences and has numerous peer-reviewed publications.

Dr Lin is an active member of the Australia New Zealand Gynaecological Oncology Group (ANZGOG) and is currently serving as Chair of the ANZGOG Cervical - Vulvo Vagina Cancer Tumour Type Working Group (CVVTTWG), she is also a member of the Research Advisory Panel (RAC). Dr Lin is also heavily involved in the teaching of trainees in gynae-oncology and radiation oncology through International Gynaecologic Cancer Society (IGCS) , Australian Brachytherapy Group (ABG) and Royal Australian New Zealand College of Radiologist (RANZCR).
