Ms Rebecca McIntosh

Biography

Rebecca McIntosh is a Project Manager at the Australian Cancer Survivorship Centre, based at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre. She joined the team in May 2022.

Rebecca is an Accredited Practising Dietitian with over 15 years experience working across the acute, sub-acute and primary healthcare setting in a variety of clinical, leadership and management roles. She has previously lead multiple state-wide cancer malnutrition projects and was co-author of the Malnutrition in Victorian Cancer Services – Malnutrition Governance Toolkit. She has also been working as a Senior Dietitian within the Nutrition and Speech Pathology Department at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre implementing state-wide the CanEAT nutrition care pathway which was co-designed to help people with cancer, carers and health professionals achieve and deliver optimal nutrition care. Within primary healthcare she has lead the successful implementation of a multidisciplinary community-based cancer survivorship model of care (Good Life – Cancer Survivorship) which was recently expanded across the Eastern Region of Melbourne.

Rebecca is a member of the Clinical Oncology Society of Australia (COSA)’s Cancer Survivorship Executive Committee. She has presented at a number of national and international conferences and is committed to improving survivorship care and health outcomes for all people with cancer.
