Steven graduated from the University of Western Australia and completed his specialist training at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in Melbourne. Subsequently, he took up a position as a sub-specialist in breast and lung cancer. Steven has been the lead investigator in a number of multi-centre clinical trials and has been involved in recruitment to a number of international trials.
