Dr Andrew Das
Postdoctoral Research Fellow
Biography
Andrew completed a combined medical and graduate research degree in 2017 at the University of Otago in New Zealand. He then worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the Centre for Free Radical Research, investigating the intersection between epigenetics and redox biology in cancer. Andrew joined the Dawson Laboratory in 2021, and his main research interests are cancer cell plasticity and how cancers evolve in response to therapy. He is using differentiation models in concert with single-molecule imaging, base-editing and functional genomic screens to investigate these phenomena.
