Associate Professor Alicia Martin
Biography
Alicia is an experienced healthcare leader with a background in Physiotherapy, specialising in Respiratory Physiotherapy. She is deeply interested in change management, people management and service delivery introduction and evaluation.
In 2021, Alicia undertook a secondment to Safer Care Victoria, as Interim Chief Allied Health Officer for the State of Victoria.
She is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and holds a Graduate Certificate of Management from the Australian Institute of Management. Alicia holds a Masters of Physiotherapy (Cardiorespiratory) from Melbourne University and a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from La Trobe University.
She is passionate about holistic patient care delivery, particularly primary and secondary prevention. She also has an interest in values based patient outcomes as well as innovative approaches to service delivery.
